I have worked in Financial Services for over 20 years and over that period of time have built up substantial knowledge and experience in dealing with different client needs. I appreciate that clients expect us to provide quality on-going advice and service and I believe this is reflected in the fact that a number of clients have been with me for most of that time.
In addition to advising personal clients on their Investment Planning, Retirement Planning and Protection requirements I also concentrate on advising Company Directors and Business Owners on their business advice needs. These include setting up and advising on pension schemes such as SIPPs, SSASs and analysing old pension schemes.
I also advise trustees on their Investment Requirements.
Having specialist knowledge in these areas means that clients with more complicated needs can be fully catered for.
I am also getting more involved in client’s Inheritance Tax Planning issues.
The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than you invested.

Ali joined the practice at the beginning of 2015 after spending 20 years working within the sports industry for one of the major brands. During her time there Ali was involved in many of the financial functions, for eight years as the Treasury Analyst and then latterly as PA to the CEO.
As PA to Nick Robinson, Ali’s role is to offer support to all the team to ensure all functions within the practice run efficiently, from co-ordinating client meetings to submitting business. Ali’s interpersonal skills are key to building strong relationships with our clients and establishing a high level of client servicing.
When not in the office Ali likes socialising with friends, keeping herself fit and enjoys listening to live music.
